Our Community

Pet Central Helps! was founded by Lisa K. Kitchens, former Shelter Director and founder at Wish Bone Canine Rescue. Their advocacy also helped to spur positive changes at McLean County Animal Control, thus ending the killing of animals in Illinois' last gas chamber. She has put together a progressive plan that will ultimately help to resolve barriers to the welfare and health of local pets and their people, thus keeping them safe. She looks forward to working with their Board of Directors, Council of Advisors, and enthusiastic supporters to bring Pet Central Helps! to our community, in order change lives for the better.
